Monica Laronda
Monica M. Laronda is the Director of Research for the Fertility & Hormone Preservation & Restoration Program at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is the Gesualdo Family Research Scholar at the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute and Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Dr. Laronda trained at Northwestern University with J. Larry Jameson, M.D., Ph.D. in spermatogonial stem cell differentiation and with Teresa Woodruff in ovarian biology and Oncofertility. She holds several National Institutes of Health grants including one within the Human BioMolecular Atlas Project (HuBMAP) to investigate how the microenvironment of oocytes may influence their activation, growth and maturation.
