Gerard A Tarulli

Gerard's research focusses on the role of endocrine hormones in regulating normal development of reproductive tissues, and how interference with normal endocrine signalling can result in defects in development. In particular, Gerard is developing improved high-throughput methods to test for chemicals that interfere with endocrine hormone action. Secondly, Gerard is involved in a large research programme understanding the reproductive and developmental biology of Australian marsupials and developing tools for next-generation marsupial conservation applications, including genetic modification, de-extinction, preservation of genetic biodiversity and biocontrol of invasive species.
