Natasha de Alwis

Dr Natasha de Alwis is a postdoctoral researcher and basic scientist in the Therapeutics Discovery and Vascular Function in Pregnancy Group at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on studying the placental and cardiovascular adaptations that occur in healthy pregnancies, and pregnancies complicated by preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction. Her key interest is in developing novel therapeutic strategies to treat serious pregnancy complications, and testing them in innovative models of disease.
